Lion Hat

Indeed... a lion hat! It's an epic chip tune melody by the artist Unicorn Kid. I have been listening to it way too much these last few days and therefore it deserves a post.

Pustulation is a Danish occult death metal band from Aalborg. Do I even need to mention that their music is awesome? Well it is! In my opinion the word "occult" perfectly describes the sound and atmosphere of their music. Go check it out:

Staying dry but fancy!

I walk to work every day. It's about 2,9km each way. It often rains in Denmark and I prefer to wear suites, shirts, etc. and really don't want to put on some rain proof pullover pants (I wonder what such pants are actually called in England? Simply "rain paints"?) since it's a hassle and it is simply too hot --- and umbrellas are useless in Denmark due to the strong winds. So how do I get to work dry but not sweaty? The solution is right here:
Jack Murphy Stockton long coat.
You can wear a normal jacket underneath so I now keep it in my bag which I always use instead of an umbrella. If the rains starts pouring down I pull out my Jack Murphy and put over everything I am already wearing (jacket and all). It's brilliant! And also rather cheap.

I had no idea that Black Messiah had made a cover of Moskau. It is fabulously entertaining!

If you don't know the original by Dschinghis Khan then here it is:

Did I mention the original was horrible? :P

Goodbye to the old Add-to-Any plugin and hello to Social Sharing Toolkit:

And now I only there are only sharing possibilities for the only two networks I care about. Google+ and LinkedIn.

The loading of off-site images did however mess with the SSL validation so have now turned SSL off for my site. Note that SSL was needed anyway. It is public after all.

Tom Waits

I can warmly recommend the Tom Waits collection Orphans: Brawlers, Bawlers & Bastards. Nanna got me it for my birthday earlier this month and it is wonderful. I am a huge Tom Waits fan and these rare tracks just made me an even bigger fan.

The Sisters of Mercy

Thanks to my sweet girlfriend Nanna I have become a huge Sisters of Mercy fan. By far, my favorite song is A Rock and a Hard Place. This is gothic rock'n'roll that will make you wish you were just half as cool as the lead singer's voice sounds ;) Enjoy.

Fun fact: Most of the code written at Haugstad & Terkelsen I/S has been written while listening to The Sisters.

Sennheiser CX 300-II Precision

I have been looking for a good pair of in-ear earphones with proper bass for a very long time. I finally found some! Obviously from Sennheiser and at the very affordable price of only 399DKr (approx. 53€). Check out the Sennheiser CX 300-II Precision.

Curriculum Vitae; now only via LinkedIn

I finally dropped the old PDF curriculum vitae. LinkedIn has all that I need for my CV and the nice "PDF"-button gives me an easy way to email it anyone should I ever need to do that.
